Intellectual Property and DMCA Notice
Games respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In compliance with the federal Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that meet the requirements set forth in the DMCA and other applicable laws. If you believe that any content on our Service has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and enough information (such as a URL) to allow us to locate it;
- Your contact information, including your address, phone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
If you believe your content was removed due to a mistake or mis identification, you can send us a counter-notice with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
- Your physical or electronic signature, along with your full legal name;
- Identification of the content that was removed or blocked, and the location where it appeared before it was removed;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or mis identification;
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address, along with a statement that you will accept service of process from the party who originally filed the notice of alleged infringement.
Upon receiving a counter-notice, we may send a copy to the original complainant and inform them that we may restore the removed content. If the complainant does not file a court order against the content, we may reinstate the content within 10 to 14 business days, at our discretion.
Please note that filing a counter-notice could lead to legal proceedings to resolve ownership disputes. If you make a false or bad faith allegation, you could face legal consequences in your jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to remove any allegedly infringing content without prior notice and at our sole discretion, where appropriate.
